Country steak, parsnip cauliflower mash, cheesy asparagus

Ingredients:

2 cube steaks

½ c almond flour

¼ c parmesan cheese (grated)

¼ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp onion powder

¼ tsp paprika                                     

¼ tsp red chili flakes

¼ tsp salt and pepper

1 egg

3 T heavy cream

2 T oil

1 T Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

Wash steaks, pat dry add set aside. In a dish mix the almond flour, parmesan cheese and seasonings.  In another dish add the egg and 1 Tablespoon of water, mix well.  Now we dip.  Place one of the steaks in the almond flour, shake off the excess and then dip in the egg.  Repeat these steps twice.  In a skillet over, add the oil and heat (medium high temp).  Add the coated steaks and cook until golden brown.  Remove from pan.  Add heavy cream and Worcestershire, lower temperature, and stir to until combined.  Add in steaks, spoon over sauce to cover.  Allow to simmer 5-10 mins.  You may add more liquid (water, stock, or cream) if needed.  Meat will be tender and flavorful.
