Who Am I?
I am a personal chef, baker, and all-around lover of good food. I have always enjoyed cooking for my family and associates. I decided to further that passion into a career. Graduating from Le Cordon Bleu gave me the confidence to further pursue my passion.
After many years of overindulging, I had gained a significant amount of weight. I decided to make a change. I had gastric sleeve surgery in June 2019. My husband and partner had the surgery in 2017. We embarked on our culinary journey for flavor and nutrition.
The C Spot (Chef Cās Culinary Creations) is an in-home cooking business that began as a take and bake. I provided casseroles, desserts, and snacks for busy coworkers and associates. It expanded to add low-carb food preparation. Due to the pandemic and state regulations we had to make changes to our business concept to continue. We now offer recipe consultation and in-home personal chef services. The Instagram page (http://instagram.com/thecspot_chefc) was created to showcase the meals being prepared for my family. Meta/Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/TheCSpotFood/) will show the posts from Instagram as well.
The website https://www.thecspotfood.com/ has recipes, pictures, information about my journey, and any events. We are super excited about our youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXwIWWOkQq0aZ04DsC100jA/featured). You get to see me cook quick, easy, and nutritious food. (#EnjoyTheJourney). As the subscribers increase, we will add youtube/Instagram live events to cook and converse with others in the journey.
The C Spot cookbook is scheduled for release in mid-January 2022.
